City could save $1 million by cutting take-home vehicles, inspector general finds
I think this falls under the “Waste” sin.
However, I am inclined to say, “So what?” It’s not any secret that Sugar Ray is wasteful. Just check the Seven Deadly Sins page. What could significantly come of this latest finding? I’m seriously wondering.
Nagin’s response to the report is another classic example of his attempts at deflection coupled with the sin of inanity-he said I haven’t read the report but from what he knows our usage of vehicles is like other cities. Huh?
You’re serious? You’re not just trying to be Socratic? The report that a million was wasted on take home vehicles came out at the same time that we were informed that the city needed $1.2M to fund the public defender’s office.
