Heath Shuler: Hope His Record In Congress…

…looks better than his record with the Saints.

I was just wondering the other day whatever happened to Heath Shuler. Then I’m watching election coverage last night and I hear “Democrat Heath Shuler has won his party’s seat in North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District.”

And I say to my fiance, “Whaaaa? Heath Schuler? The one who used to play for the Saints?”

And Wolf Blitzer says, “Shuler, a former college and pro football quarterback…”

And I say, “Dang! He’s heading back to Redskin territory!”

That’s one for the “THIS is where are they now” file. What’s next? Billy Joe Hobert wins Washington’s 9th District?
