worker>machine>product 2001

the masses of city workers

breakdown their muscles and valves

relentlessly supporting the product

making the product

manufacturing the product

mass producing the product

are the product

these gentlemen given he name ‘blue collar’

lose their fingers and lungs

in factories and refineries

giving life to the product

with machines that mimic their joints and bones

unforgiving machines

that occasionally snatch a limb

and are not punished

and the limb is replaced

with a machine

and the worker

becomes part machine
