I’ve flown offshore in a helicopter twice. You should see it with your own eyes. It’ll scare the hell out of you. When you see downtown New Orleans in the distance with the Gulf right on the doorstep of downtown, then you’ll realize they weren’t exaggerating with the 10 year claim.
The last time I went, I tried to bring a camera with me, but I forgot about it during my 8 hour wait at the heliport (waiting for the fog to clear). Next trip, I’ll bring back some incredible photos.
